The wood is an attractive dark color and the pieces are well-crafted and fit together as they should. I particularly like that it has a drawer on the bottom so you can stash small items that otherwise would create clutter. There are holes cut out that allow you to feed the charging cord in from behind for a cleaner look. The tray is ideal for glasses, change, or other small items, and there’s a cutout for hanging keys. This is ideal for a bedside, where you could watch videos or listen to music from your phone while it’s on the charging stand if you wanted.
